The Runner | Page 1 The Runner: Page 1 Page: 1 2 3 Forward by Jordan Halland I wrote this story last year when I was going through a lot of gnarly stuff. My wife and I got in two separate car accidents in one weekend. The first accident sent my wife to the emergency room because she was 8 months pregnant. She went into pre-term labor which isn't a good thing at all. the second accident happened the next day and that one totaled our car. This also meant that we didn't have a good reliable car to drive when our son would finaly be born. A few weeks later we went to have our taxes done and learned that we owed $1,500. Needless to say I was feeling very defeated. I began to doubt that God really cared for me and that he was there at all. I hope this story ministers to you as much as it ministered to me writing it.
