Where do you live?
JR:
Unincorporated King County.
ST:
What are your favorite places to skate?
JR:
83rd Street, Northbend Ramp, and Seattle.
ST:
Which BFC stop was your favorite to skate in?
JR:
Sammamish was dope, it was clear skys and I knew the majority of all the people who skated there, it was a really good turn out for the skateparks first contest.
ST:
Which skater(s) inspire you the most and why?
JR:
Sean Malto and Daewon Song because they've been killing it for years. Pretty much the whole Lakai team, fully flared is all I have to say.
ST:
What are your thoughts on skating in contests? Do you plan to keep doing them?
JR:
I like skating in contests because its just like a gathering of skaters where you can meet new people, skate with your friends, and possibly come up on some stuff or at least a meal.
ST:
Now that rainy season is approaching what are you going to be doing to stay skating?
JR:
Most likely Ile be skating the Bellevue indoor because its close, cheap, and you can skate there till it closes.

ST:
How do you feel about the Seattle skate scene?
JR:
Seattle is crust, but it just makes everything that much tighter. Not to many kids are on the come up here but there's some amazing skaters here.

ST:
Who are your sponsors?
JR: SnoCon.
ST:
I didn't realize you were still in High School til about a week ago, do you get good grades?
JR: I don't. As much as I wish I could commit to the books, I stick to skating and drawing.
ST:
What tricks are you working on?
JR: Back 270 lipslides, back 360 kickflips, tailslide kickflips.
ST:
Why do they call you Hector?
JR: People call me Hector, because there wasn't any tan kids at Redmond when I first started skating there, so they said I looked more like a Hector than a Jason.
