The BFC 123 Contest Series 2007 The BFC 123 Contest Series is a set of skateboard contests at select locations in the Seattle area. The series for the summer of 2007 was action-packed. Waves of skilled competitors showed up to compete and push the sport of skateboarding to the edge... and we even had visits from skate legend, Christian Hosoi and all-time favorite pro, Brian Sumner. At the sixth and final contest, a single overall winner was chosen and awarded as the 2007 Kronik Energy Ramp Champ. Without a doubt, Caleb Cole, secured the spot as the 2007 overall winner. Over the season, a ton of incredible stuff went down. Behind the scenes, the judges had quite a job of narrowing the candidates down to the overall winner. In fact, there was a tie up until the final contest at Skate Barn. In the end, Caleb came out ahead with one of his heftiest lines ever. Entering key contests and coming out strong across the board backed up his resume this season. 1st at Skate Barn 5th at Woodinville 5th at Shoreline Solid output in the best trick contests as well Most notable about Caleb is his consistency... rocking tricks left and right and landing them all clean. He's a reliable skater... quite a master across both tranny and street territory... one word to describe him is 'solid.' If he shows up to a contest, better watch out cause he's most likely walking away with one of the prizes. What else is there to like about this guy? His open, positive attitude and his love and dedication for the sport. What stood out most was Caleb's last line at Skate Barn... wowing the crowd with trick after trick... tailslide 270 out, front board 270 out, fat noseblunt on the quarterpipe, 360 flip, 180 fakie nosegrind, nosegrind transfer and of course the clincher, Caleb's monster backside 360 melon grab over the launch box. That pretty much made the judges job easy after that. As the 2007 overall winner, Caleb stocked up on a full supply of Kronik Energy drinks, a portable DVD player, a library of DVDs, shirts, hats and more, all supplied by Kronik Energy.
